For Labor Day weekend we headed down to the Lake of the Ozarks for some sun, fun, and relaxing. Well we didn't exactly get the sun part checked off the list, but still had the fun and relaxing. It rained for most of the weekend and the sun finally came out Monday afternoon as we were pulling the boat back in to the dock to get ready to go home. Either way we all had fun, did some swimming and fishing as you'll see below.
Here is Abby reeling in a "big one". Tim had his hands quite full with Abby & Ashley, plus 3 dogs that tend to get in the way.
Abby and Ashley posing with their fish - they are quite the pair.
Abby with another fish. They took turns reeling them in and throwing them back.
This is Chris and his daughter Kaitlyn. The fish was making "kissy faces" and she was touching it and just giggling - very cute as well.
And last but not least a photo of Megan. She is sitting up on her own now pretty well. Still hasn't mastered falling backwards gracefully. If you put her on her stomach she'll push off of your hand with her feet but her arms aren't coordinating to get closer to crawling just yet. She doesn't spend that much time on her stomach because she'll roll over to her back pretty quickly.
And of course Abby had to get in a picture as well. We don't get many pictures of Megan by herself before Abby pops in.
This weekend is up in the air for plans. Tim may or may not be working in Memphis and Megan has some her 6 (well almost 7) month photos on Saturday. But we may go down to the Lake as well, or Mizzou's first home game is this weekend so maybe tailgating, who knows. OR maybe we'll stay at home for once!
